Priorities that reflect ‘provincial issues first’ are playing a large role in Conservative rebirth, and what appears to be a Liberal collapse

"Unlike the Liberals and New Democrats, we are a wholly Made-In-BC party and our policy priorities reflect that we put provincial issues first," said Bolin.

The leader of BC’s Conservatives, Trevor Bolin, says he is buoyed by the success of his recent stops in the BC interior as well as the Fraser Valley and metro-Vancouver, and believes it portends well for the party's results when votes are counted this Saturday.

"I met with many of our candidates, visited their campaigns, did several interviews with major news media. The feeling is there, one of genuine interest, in voting for our Conservative Party," said Bolin, a business owner and city councillor in Fort St. John who only recently became leader and is running in the Peace River North constituency.

"Besides my own riding, we're running great candidates in 18 other ridings around the province. and we’re definitely hearing from many that our prospects look good," said Bolin, raising the prospect the Conservatives could emerge holding the balance of power in the Legislature.

"Regardless of how many people we elect as MLAs, BC’s Conservatives have already made a positive difference by raising its policy priorities in the campaign," he said, noting the B.C. party is not affiliated with the federal Conservatives.

"Unlike the Liberals and New Democrats, we are a wholly Made-In-BC party and our policy priorities reflect that we put provincial issues first," said Bolin.

Conservatives in BC believe this is playing a large role in the rebirth of the party, and in what appears to be a collapse for Wilkinson’s Liberals.

BC’s Conservative are not, and will not, split the vote, and Andrew Wilkinson needs a reminder that on their own they lost 8 seats to the NDP last election.

It’s our platform that is bringing voters to us in large numbers”, said Bolin. “I believe it’s policies and our commitments to true representation.”

It’s 2020, and despite what the Liberals are saying, people should have a choice”, he said, before concluding;

And we’re happy to see the choice of voter is turning our way more and more.”
