I was deeply honoured to be offered the interim leadership of the British Columbia Conservative Party following the party's Annual General Meeting in September. It is with great humility that I accepted the role, and in keeping with the intent of our party constitution, I will not be seeking the elected leadership of the party in 2018. 

The British Columbia Conservative Party supports ridesharing in BC, and urges the NDP to table ridesharing legislation by the end of the year, as promised. The party also suggests a pilot project immediately.

"Ridesharing legislation is long overdue in BC," said Interim party leader Scott Anderson. "It's time to let people decide if they will support this innovation in transportation."

The British Columbia Conservative Party is pleased to announce that Scott Anderson has been appointed the party's Interim Leader. The appointment was confirmed by a unanimous decision by the newly elected Board of Directors immediately following the Annual General Meeting in Langley on Saturday, September 30, 2017.
