National Day of Action for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.

The following is a statement from the leader of BC’s Conservatives, Trevor Bolin on National Day of Action for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Woman and Girls:

Today, our country remembers and honours the women -– mothers, sisters, daughters, wives, and those from our communities -– who remain missing, or who are no longer with us.

On this National Day of Action on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls we acknowledge, and hold, a moment of silence for these tragic happenings that have affected so many of our communities in B.C.

 Our plea today is to whoever forms government 20 days from now;

 “Let us do everything possible so that these tragedies, which continue in our communities and on our provinces dark highways, and which have brought about anguish in too many families for far too long, are brought to an end”.
